{"id":1059,"date":"2010-08-29T10:06:00","date_gmt":"2010-08-29T09:06:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.strettoblaster.com\/wordpress\/?p=1059"},"modified":"2020-11-30T17:15:45","modified_gmt":"2020-11-30T17:15:45","slug":"dj-marcio-soul-from-the-hood","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/strettoblaster.com\/it\/beats\/dj-marcio-soul-from-the-hood\/","title":{"rendered":"Soul From The Hood, un tributo a DJ Marcio"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Here we are, once again.<\/p>\n<p>A short time before his untimely death, like one month or so,<br \/>\nduring one of our very last phone calls, my brother <strong>Dj Marcio<\/strong><br \/>\ntold me about how he felt like doing some special soul mix,<br \/>\nto break the long hiatus with his primary activity, blessing 1200&#8217;s.<\/p>\n<p>He has been very precise describing the thing.<br \/>\nHe was interested in that special kind of tear-jerker,<br \/>\nheart-felt and deep soul music, the one that comes from<br \/>\nordinary people who could fight for their lives, in their &#8216;hoods.<\/p>\n<p>The kind of music who could talk to everybody<br \/>\nand let those feelings flow into their minds.<br \/>\nHe called it <span style=\"font-style: italic;\">&#8220;soul from the &#8216;hood&#8221;<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>My man has been a deep and pure genius, let me tell you,<br \/>\na very sensible guy, who couldn&#8217;t afford all the evil that men do,<br \/>\nin no way.
