Marseille’s own supremos from IAM crew are delivering a stellar example of dirty underground French rap. “La Garde” stands strong as one of the most overlooked hardcore rap albums from the late Nineties. In fact, despite not being very known outside of the IAM/Faf Larage’s aficionados, the album is solid and enjoyable.
