Directly from the best crew of the Bassa, walking on the waters of the Po river, passing through Bologna, down to Bogotà, here is Gaston Martin. From Bologna to the stars, the fattest funk drips into the musical selections of ours and flies like glasses in bars where the right music is played. A man of few words and many beautiful records, when the press officer asked for a statement, the good Gaston did not think much about it, and with his frankness he replied
… write what you prefer, I don’t know what to say … I simply want to say that if I am there with my records, a well-stocked bar counter and the right people, a Madonna’s party comes out !!!!!
El Siluro Discomix is a river disco-funk gem confirming the above, courtesy of the Pasotto Foundation archive, a mixed selection originally published on CD in a very limited edition, just one hundred copies, obviously the prerogative of very few followers.
