Behind the Beats

​​From day one, FFiume fell in love with music through radio broadcasting first, and then deejay culture. Back in the day it was all about records, samplers, turntables and crate digging. 

When he started in music and making beats, he did it without a manual or a specific theory, he followed the sound and vibes mainly. 

His passion for music has become now his life balance system, or like he likes to call it: his Zen Garden.

An unfiltered instrumental session

This first collection of compositions contains raw beats produced with minimal DAW processing in his trusty Akai MPC 2500, every hiss, click and pop. 

FFiume likes to give an organic sound to his mixes, errors are welcomed as well as static and crackles which gives a particular sound to his music. 

“It is the very essence of my sound research. An unfiltered instrumental session straight from my home studio, where the speakers brew the magic potions for my stereo. And the neighbor jumps, of course.”
