Paul Nero got that Detroit Soul Party vibe: non-stop vibes.

Back in the late Sixties and early Seventies, with the turntables diffusion, in Europe, the non-stop albums for private parties consumption were a big thing. German composer Klaus Doldinger alias Paul Nero kills the whole composition here. This double sider is filled with funk and soul heat in medley form, and it contains classic and sought-after drum breakbeat “Detroit Soul“, as flipped by DJ Premiere from GangStarr. This is an original German first issue, the record comes in excellent shape, the laminated cover has some ring wear due to storage, the edges are a bit worn (see the picture) but overall a great copy for a sweet deal.
Funk aficionados and boom-bap lovers essential here.
